The Maltipoo is one of the cutest puppies in the dog world hands down! With its cute little button nose, fluffy coat, and beady round eyes you can’t help but to fall in love with them.
The Maltipoo is known by many name and spelled in different ways. Maltipoo can be spelled – Maltepoo, Maltapoo, Malt-i-poo, moodle, malt-e-poo, malt-a-poo, maldoodle, maltoodle, and mutipoo. No matter how you say or spell it the Maltipoo is a beautiful puppy.
The Maltipoo is an intentional crossbreed of a Maltese and toy Poodle. This particular mix produces the same wonderful qualities of the pure bred Maltese and Poodle puppies. They are very intelligent (the poodle being the second smartest dog in the world), happy to please, noble, loyal, and very connected to their owners. These puppies are good pack animals which means they fit in well to any family environment. They are a wonderful companion, ready to protect, play, or just cuddle in your lap. Maltipoo puppies are very affectionate and gentle.
It’s this sweet affectionate demeanor that makes the Maltipoo an excellent therapy dog. It’s inhibition to gravitate to a person (young or old) that is in need is almost uncanny. The psychological effects that a dramatic car accident, losing a love, a spouse being deployed overseas in the military, an unfaithful husband, or just having a really bad season in life – Maltipoo puppies help tremendously. It’s their sweet gentle loving personality that makes you forget the problems of life for a moment. They are the type of puppy that will stare you in the eye and understand your facial expression knowing whether it’s time to play or time to sit quietly by your side resting their head on your leg or cuddling in your lap to comfort you. It’s no wonder why Maltipoo puppies are increasing in popularity and fame. You’ve probably seen them in Hollywood with famous celebrities.
The overall size of a Maltipoo rages depending on the size of the parents but usually is between 5 – 12 lbs. They are hypoallergenic which means they don’t shed and are perfect for owners with allergies. Their coat color is white, cream, apricot, red, teddy bear brown, black, and multi-colored. The coat is soft and puffy and slightly wavy which is from the curly coat of the poodle and the straight coat of the Maltese.
All in all the Maltipoo is a wonderful companion and is one of the cutest well-tempered puppies around.
